The Alpha Chi Omega Foundation supports educational programs for victims of domestic violence. As well as hands-on support at the local community level where personal involvement can make a difference. Grants go to various agencies across the nation providing services to victims as well as to provide development and implementation of educational programs for members.
Walk A Mile in Her Shoes
Walk A Mile in Her Shoes is a philanthropy event held annually by Alpha Chi Omega where men volunteer to walk one mile in bright red heels. It's not easy walking in these shoes, but it's fun and it gets the community to talk about something that's really difficult to talk about: domestic violence. All funds raised go directly to MSU Safe Place, a program with a mission to provide shelter, advocacy, support and counseling services for victims of domestic violence and stalking while seeking to end domestic violence through public awareness and community education.
Volley Against Violence
Volley Against Violence is an annual philanthropy event held by Alpha Chi Omega. Fraternities are encouraged to participate in a friendly volleyball tournament. Donations raised go to MSU Safe Place.
Committed to Helping Others:
The Beta Epsilon chapter does many other various philanthropy events throughout the school year. We actively participate with the rest of MSU's Greek community, such as Sigma Chi's Derby Days, Relay For Life, or Safe Halloween, just to name a few! Whether it's ice skating with underprivileged children, or supporting other fraternities and sororities on campus the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega are actively committed to making a positive change in the community.
